I opened the package and immediately began charging. However that wasn’t necessary as it came pre charged. Which is nice! The construction is solid, size is perfect. I really like the flexible head as it gets into the hard to reach spots. Perfect for lighting candles or kindling piles. I will keep this in my camper as the utility tool of choice.

Works exactly as described. Pleased with product, lasts longer than I expected too. Have repeatedly used it and has not required recharged yet, currently stored in my RV until next season.
